Sharon Leung
Sharon Leung is a pastor at Richmond Hill Christian Community Church and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario. She holds a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Hong Kong. Sharon is deeply committed to supporting individuals through grief and loss and has a strong passion for senior care, serving both within the church and the broader community.
Tom McCormick
Tom McCormick enjoys the interrelationships among several disciplines. He has a BA in philosophy and mathematics, an MA in Bible (Westminster Seminary, Philadelphia), a PhD in Humanities (Linguistics & Philosophy, University of Texas, Arlington), and a PhD in Philosophy (Institute for Christian Studies, Toronto). Tom also integrates praxis with thought, serving as a chaplain at Long Term & Residential Care Homes, teaching ESL, helping coordinate services for immigrants, assisting minority language groups overseas with literacy, development, and Bible translation, while helping to train consultants and literacy workers. He has taught mathematics, linguistics, reading theory, orthography design, philosophy, theology, education, qualitative research methods, and language acquisition. His books include Meditation: a Practical Guide to a Spiritual Discipline; 2 books on Nursing Home Ministry; Theories of Reading in Dialogue; Science, Imagination and God; Towards a Christian Philosophy; The Field and the Spirit; Meditation: a Biblical Study. Tom has been working with those in Long Term Care Nursing Homes for more than 50 years and has taught at both graduate and undergraduate institutions, including conducting workshops both in North America and overseas.

Assistant Pastor of Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church with ministry mainly on Community Outreach and Family Fellowship; had been a Mandarin pastor of Wismer Baptist Church in Markham and Whitby-Oshawa Chinese Baptist Church pastor.

Rev. Felix Wong
Since 2017, Pastor Wong served in the Chinese Rhenish Church (Hong Kong) before returning to Canada in 2024. Prior to that he was a senior pastor of the Toronto Simpson Chinese Alliance Church for 17 years. Presently, Pastor Wong focuses on helping interested churches develop the Pastoral Ministry for Families while his wife Pastor Tracy Chan is serving at North York Chinese Baptist Church in Toronto.

Andy Leung
Andy Leung has served seniors for more than fifteen years. Before retirement, he was the Director of Community Support Service of one of the largest geriatric care organizations in North America. As a lay leader of his church, he serves seniors in life lease building and long-term care home, sharing the message of God. He has a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and is an Ontario Registered Social Worker. He is studying for his Master of Theological Studies at Tyndale University. Andy is one of the speakers in workshop A2/B1.
Jennifer Tong
Jennifer Tong serves the elderly by regularly bringing music to them in LTC and Retirement Homes, as well as Seniors’ Centres. She plays worship music, classical pieces, and also ‘golden oldies’ with singers. Jennifer recorded music for seniors especially during Covid, held a half-day online conference on music and art for elderly ministries, and now hosts a Music Under Discussion group monthly to discuss music with others. Jennifer is one of the speakers in workshop A2/B1.
Joannie Yu
Older Adults Services Director. Joannie has over 10 years of social service experience at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care (頤康中心) in addition to ministry work at parachurch organizations, including Christian Communications Canada (加拿大福音證主協會). She holds a Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale University and a Master of Arts in Spiritual Studies from Lutheran Theological Seminary. She has a passion for journeying with older adults through their next life chapter by developing enriching opportunities at 105 Gibson Centre. Joanie is one of the speakers in workshop A1/B2.
Glen Zeidler
Glen Zeidler has a diverse background in both the corporate and ministry worlds. He began his career in South Africa, managing IT support for mainframe systems and mortgage processing at a major bank across three countries. After moving to Canada, Glen studied at Toronto Baptist Seminary, where he also led Bible studies at a Christian retirement home.
Glen has served in pastoral ministry for over three decades, including work with youth and young adults since 1989. He currently serves as a chaplain at a long-term care facility in Toronto and supports the pastoral team at New Life Church following a merger with his former congregation in 2019. Glen is the National Stream Leader for the Seniors and Long-Term Care ministry of Connecting Streams, a division of Power to Change. His work focuses on equipping and mobilizing churches to care for seniors in long-term care facilities and those aging in their communities. Glen will moderate some of the sessions and will speak in workshop A2/B1.
